Raised in Annapolis, Maryland, Maxim has spent his career involved in many aspects of construction and real estate.  Growing up he spent countless hours on jobsites working for his father’s high end drywall business which gave him invaluable field experience that simply can’t be taught from behind a desk. This knowledge, along with a passion for real estate, and his keen eye for detail set the foundation for what has become Maxim Building Group Inc.

Maxim received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing while also playing collegiate hockey at the highest level for the University of New Hampshire. 

After graduation, Maxim moved to Boston where he took on a role as an associate at a commercial real estate firm which specialized in tenant and landlord leasing representation of downtown office space. Although the job taught him items such as lease contract language, tenant improvement costs, and the importance of networking, he knew this was not his long term passion. At that moment, Maxim made the decision to transition from sitting behind a desk while working for someone to building a company of his own.

He moved back to Annapolis and tirelessly put his building background, business acumen, and knowledge of the local market to use by forming Maxim Building Group, Inc.  

During the past several years, with his positive demeanor and competitive edge, Maxim has quickly grown Maxim Building Group Inc into one of the premier custom home builders in the Annapolis Area.
